Blending VR with reality is always an exciting field, especially when it comes to car racing. PC retailer Overclockers UK held the first round of its unique VR Racing Series in 2016, and now it’s back, and bigger than before.
This year, the organiser has partnered with Intel, XFX, the HTC Vive headset, Next Level Racing, Thrustmaster, and noblechairs to bring you the chance to put your skills to the test in the virtual world of Project CARS, and on the real track around the Bedford Autodrome.
Entrance into the competition is free and the rules are simple. The six fastest VR competitors in Project CARS will be invited to a track day at the Bedford Autodrome. Those most talented six players will get the opportunity to drive the Renault Clio Cup, BMW M4 GTP, Land Rover Defender, Caterham Pursuit, Ariel Atom, Palmer JP-LM, and Formula 3000!
