South Korean entertainment technology company CJ 4DPLEX has announced that it will showcase to the public the new 4DX VR Disk unit at the International Amusement Parks Expo 2017. The Disk allows people to explore 360 degrees of virtual reaction without having to place their feet on the floor.

As part of a US $130 million (£100 million) research project backed by the UK government, a company named 3D Repo is creating 3D Virtual Reality visualisations to help simulate driverless vehicle routes.
